During the South by South West Music Conference, The Mother Truckers were named “The Best Roots Rock Band” at the 2006-2007 Austin Music Awards!!!!

Also, the band was in the Top Ten in five other categories including: Band of the Year, Best New Band, Best Country Band, Best Electric Guitarist, and Best Female Vocals. You can take a look at all the lists here:

2006 was a great year for TMT’s, The Austin American Statesman’s Michael Corcoran listed “Broke, Not Broken” in the TOP 10 albums list. KGSR’s top 107 of the year found “Broke, Not Broken” at #57!!!
